1st session: PRESENTATION, STUDY ORGANIZATION, HEATING

2nd session: BREATHING, SOUND, EMBOCADURA

3rd session: EXPRESSIVE SOUND NUANCES, TUNING

4th session: DIGITAL TECHNIQUE, AGILITY

5th session: ARTICULATION

6th session: READING AND MEMORIZATION

7th session: REPERTOIRE AND PROFESSIONAL EXITS

General objectives:

At the end of the training, students will be able to:

- Know general aspects of the transverse flute

Specific objectives:

At the end of the training, students should be able to:

- Organize and plan the study of the instrument

-Know the basic principles of breathing and sound production.

-Develop your agility, articulation, reading and memorization.

-Identify different types of repertoire.

Age Range:

Divided into two groups:

- 2nd and 3rd cycle students

- students from secondary school

Duration and Hours:

Workshop with 7 sessions divided into 1 hour every Saturday from February 20th to April 3rd.

From 9.30 am to 10.30 am | 2nd and 3rd cycle students group

From 11am to 12pm | Group of students from secondary school

Training Organization:

Distance Training with synchronous sessions.

Training Methodology:

Expository, Demonstrative, Active and Interrogative.

Mafalda Carvalho, a flutist with several national and international competitions, works in Portugal after belonging to the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra, in Mexico.

We are a family owned and operated business.

Master in Artistic Interpretation and Music Education, Mafalda Carvalho is currently a flutist of the Classical Orchestra of the Center, of the Ensemble DME, professor at the Conservatory of Music of Seia - Collegium Musicum and Artistic Academy of the Municipality of Tábua, developing in parallel his artistic practice and pedagogical.
