Workshop on exercises of the cervical spine, trunk and upper limbs and improvement in the musical performance of the instrumentalists

Goals:
- Emphasize, as the muscular strengthening and flexibilization of the trunk, upper limbs and cervical spine, interfere in the instrumentalists' posture ;
We are a family owned and operated business.
- Demonstrate how the exercises for toning the respiratory muscles can improve sound and musical performance, creating a harmony between technique and musicality;

- Teach, specific breathing exercises, for the correct mastery of the instrument, transverse flute, in order to learn techniques to increase the use of air, in concrete situations of reading and interpretation .;
We are a family owned and operated business.
- Emphasize, that the use of air can help in staccato, sound, technique and interpretation.

Carolina Alves Tavares
Carolina Tavares, has a degree in Music from the Escola Superior de Lisboa, and currently attends her Master's Degree in Music Teaching at the Catholic University of Porto and teaches flute at the School of Music of the Vila Nova de Anços Philharmonic.
He was an integral part of the Wind Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music of Coimbra and the Banda Filarmónica Arganilense, participated in several activities such as:
VI Flute Weekend at São Teotónio Music School, VI Transverse Flute Course at the Coimbra Music Conservatory, Transverse Flute Masterclass at Porto Literary Club, 1st Wind Orchestra stage in Gouveia, IX Covilhã Symphonic Stage , 6th Stage of Banda de Palmela, Open School activities at ESART, 1st Summer Flute Academy of the Catholic University, Stage D'Ouro in Crestuma, 100 Flute Orchestra Project and 100 Saxophone Orchestra Project, VII Flute Course at the Coimbra Music Conservatory, Transverse Flute Masterclass at the Jaime Chavinha Music Conservatory, in Minde, 2nd Summer Flute Academy in Porto, 1st AECMC Orchestra Stage at the Coimbra Music Conservatory, Cécile Chaminade Concertino with Bamba Filarmónica de Arganil, performer in the Masterclass with professor Sibel Pensel at the University of Aveiro, taught Flute in the Music Schools of Filvar bands, Flute Masterclass at Academia Naciona l Superior de Orquestra, performer in the X Transverse Flute Course at the Conservatório de Música de Coimbra, XII Wind Orchestra Stage at Ourearte, Flute Masterclass at the Sinfonias Music Academy, Arganil Wind Orchestra Stage, worked to give AECS at EB1 Jorge Barradas.

Nurse. Maria Fernanda Alves Tavares
Maria Fernanda Alves Tavares was born on November 5, 1959, in Murteira (Proença-a-Nova).
She did general studies until the 12th year of schooling, joining the nursing course in 1980 at the nursing school of Castelo Branco, finishing in 1983.
In 1989, he entered the specialization course in rehabilitation nursing, concluding in 1991.
She worked as a nurse at the district hospital of Portalegre, an obstetrics service; Portuguese Institute of Oncology of Coimbra, radiotherapy service, general and specialized surgery; Hospitals of the University of Coimbra, intensive care service.
As a rehabilitation nurse, she developed her career in various services, notably, physical medicine and rehabilitation; cardiothoracic; general surgery; intensive medicine and intermediate surgical care unit, where he is currently practicing.
His area of intervention has always been the respiratory function, as prevention of respiratory complications (pneumonia, atelectasis, pleural effusions), to patients in the immediate postoperative period and or undergoing mechanical, invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
